Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!

Hey friends, hows everyone doin?
Hope everyone is in the BEST state of Iman, Health, Happiness and Istiqamah in studies.

If anyone is still having ongg exams, ALL THE BEST! Make your efforts count in the eyes of ALLAH, amiin.
I’d like to share how studying in syria has boost my increasing love, respect, appreciation etc to the Perfect, the Kindest and Most Influential man on this earth… and that would be our Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him…

I used to study siratunnabi in a care-less attitude; I listen to unispiring lectures about Prophet Peace Be Upon Him, make notes about him and memorize his biodata to pass exams…

However, now…

Listening , studying about him and his many sacrifices for his ummah and future ummah retold by my brilliant anisah(what we call ustazah here)can make me shed tears on how beautiful he was as a human being, saviour to humankind and his humbleness regardless his position in this world and the hereafter… who are we if compared to him? So why do we boast? Why are we sometimes so full of ourselves…?

One example of his beautiful behaviour, is written in the song ‘Don’t Talk To Me About Muhammad’ by Dawud Warnsby Ali. A popular pastime for Sg students here is also to read the ‘ Qasidah BURDAH’; a 160 bait poem by Imam Saalih Sharafuddin Abu Abdullah Muhd Bin Hasan Al-Busairi who composed it expressing the grandeur and excellence of our Prophet Peace Be Upon Him. For the translation of the qasidah: www. Alinaam.org.za
It is always important to understand what we learn or read to fully appreciate something, no?

There are so many other aspects of the Prophet that one can learn from and a MUSLIM should study and exemplify them so as to be successful ,not only in Dunya Fana but Akhirat Kholidah most importantly.
His diplomacy with other races, his mercy, his kindness, his intelligence, his ascetism(zuhud), his fairness, his time-management, his discipline, his leadership and so on that if ANY muslim were to follow passionately and sincerely, surely he would feel at peace with himself and the world.

A true mu’min is not then until, he loves Allah and His Rasul more than himself. That he loves his brothers more than himself. He sacrifices for Allah and his Rasul…He is in constant awareness about his place in this world which is temporary. The world and all its sweetness can delude us, and as humans, we tend to forget, we tend to take things for granted, we tend to sway…

One way to get back to being a better improving proactive Muslim is to remember our Prophet Peace Be Upon Him.Take insights and lessons from his glorious history. Stop being passive. It’s high time we apply what we’ve studied about our beloved Prohet Peace Be Upon Him, about Islam and put words into action in each day of our lives. No holidays here ok?Hee.

It’s of absolute waste study high high but no positive change for the better. At least try, and seek help from Him the Almighty.

Thus, I remind myself firstly and others. And Allah knows Best.
